Who am I?

B.F. Vega
Horror Writer

B.F. Vega is a horror writer, political poet, and overworked theater artist living in the North Bay Area of California. A member of the Bay Area chapter of the HWA her short stories and poetry have appeared in multiple anthologies, magazines, and the occasional podcast.  She is still shocked when people refer to her as an author---every time.

Beulah Vega
Poet

Beulah Vega is a mixt-race political poet whose work is deeply rooted in California's land and history. She strives to create work that not everyone will like but that everyone will think about.

Occasionally, she writes a book of love poems because she is pretty sure it is required by law that poets write books of love poems. Wait, that's not true?

Beulah F. Vega
Theater Artist

Beulah F. Vega has been doing theater for almost 40 years. She has been directing for 20 years and reviewing for three years. Along the way, she has learned how to do almost everything in a theater except for hanging lights (she's scared of heights).

She is a producer, director, costume designer, set designer, and makeup artist. Her production company Heroines, Harlots, and Harpy's is focused on Own Voice theatre, which is told by the women who lived the stories.

She is focused on theater that allows marginalized voices to speak. However, she also has a deep and abiding love for Oscar Wilde and Tennesse Williams.

She knows that you think her review of (insert show here) was unfair/irrelevant/stupid/petty/completely wrong. She fully apologizes and admits that whatever you feel is right because she wants the art form to thrive and has no interest in debating minutia with people who are resigned to being annoyed by one reviewer's opinion.
